How to qualify

There will be several ways to secure your spot in Åland this August. One way is to perform well in one of our qualifying tournaments, which will be held on a number of high-quality courses both in and outside of Europe.

Additionally, federations or other organizations will have the opportunity to nominate a specified number of spots within a country or region. Discussions about this are still ongoing, but in most cases this haven't even started.

Do you have a high rating?

If so, there will be a registration window where a limited number of spots will be awarded based on PDGA ratings (tentatively in mid-June).

No rating?

Don’t worry. While we have not yet determined the exact number of participants, our goal is, of course, to accommodate as many as possible. There will be a registration window where all juniors are welcome to sign up (tentatively in late June).

Everybody is welcome

The entire foundation of this project is to create a camp and competition with a broad reach. All juniors are welcome, regardless of your current skills or future ambitions.

Qualifier events

Currently, we have scheduled qualifying tournaments at:

  • Ale (Sweden)

  • Eghjorten (Denmark)

  • Äijänpelto (Finland)

  • Maple Hill (USA)

But this is just the beginning. We are still in discussions with additional courses, clubs, and countries about hosting qualifiers and plan to announce more locations in early January.

Why play a qualifier?

If you participate in a qualifying tournament, you’ll have the chance to win fantastic prizes in the form of free registration for the main event in Åland. The registration fee (likely between €100 and €200) will include much more than just being signed up for the camp and competition.

Our goal is for the registration fee to cover all activities and side events, a player’s package (valued higher than the registration fee), simple accommodation (e.g., in a gymnasium or similar), and much more.

We hope to finalize these details as early as possible in 2025.
